Moxi is a gentle, fractionated laser designed to effectively treat the visible signs of aging and produce evenly toned, radiant skin in as little as a single treatment, although 2-4 session are typically recommended.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Moxi's technology is similar to that of an aeration system of a lawn. Skin is injured ( and removed) in order to promote oxygen flow, regenerate new skin, and overall heal the entire surface!
Moxi is a non-ablative 1927nm wavelength that targets water within cells to work with the body’s natural healing processes for a gentle treatment with little downtime.

A Moxi requires numbing cream application, 20-30 minutes in duration, prior to the start of treatment. The procedure itself takes 10 minutes.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT:
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so that we can cleanse your face and apply numbing cream, allowing it to take ample effect before your procedure. Your comfort is our top priority! After 20-30 minutes, your numbing cream will be wiped away and you are ready to start your laser treatment. Safety glasses will be applied to your eyes before starting. The treatment is tolerated well, but but can feel hot and snappy. It takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
You will leave feeling sunburnt with hot, pink-tinged skin. The warmness will subside over the next few hours, while the pinkness will go away after 2-3 days.
HOW MUCH DOWNTIME SHOULD YOU PLAN FOR?

The texture of your skin will feel rough like sandpaper while you’re healing. This is absolutely normal and desired. Your skin is regenerating itself, producing collagen and new skin cells over the next 7-14 days. During this time period, expect for your skin’s texture to progressively get softer, with full results at two weeks.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR TREATMENT:
Upon booking, you will be emailed detailed pre-treatment instructions! Be sure to follow them closely, as your treatment will be more effective and you will experience less downtime in doing so. You will want to avoid sun exposure, sunless tanner, retinol-based products, and blood thinners two weeks beforehand. Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time for ample numbing.
WHEN WILL YOU SEE RESULTS?
You will see full results 3 weeks after you undergo a Moxi laser treatment! It is important to plan ahead of time when booking; important events should be 3-4 weeks in the future to ensure proper heal time and radiant, glowy skin when you're desiring it.

How fast are the treatments? Do you numb?
A typical Moxi treatment takes 8 to 12 minutes depending on the number of passes and density. Anesthetic cream is applied on all patients. Why not make a comfortable feel more comfortable?
