What is Radiofrequency Microneedling?
Potenza is an advanced radiofrequency microneedling treatment that addresses skin tightness, texture, and laxity. This amazing device can all be used on skin types, anywhere on the body, any time of the year. Potenza uses the combination of ultrafine needles and high radiofrequency energy that penetrates deep layers of the skin to promote the production of collagen and elastin. These building blocks help repair and strengthen the skin integrity. Results are seen as early as four weeks, full results at 12 weeks.
What does Radiofrequency Microneedling feel like?
This treatment can feel like a warm, prickling, stinging sensation. We use medical grade numbing cream prior to the treatment to help with any discomfort from the procedure. Many patients have described this as “spicy”. Taking Tylneol prior to treatment as well as staying hydrated helps prevent and minimize any discomfort.
What can I expect as far as results go?
You can expect an improvement in skin laxity, uneven skin texture and tone, fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, and stretch marks. Depending on the extent of skin damage, it may take multiple procedures to reach your goal but you can expect improvement with each treatment.
How do I prepare for the treatment?
Make sure you are very hydrated prior to treatment. Radiofrequency is attracted to water in and around cells. Hydrated skin will get a more effective treatment. Avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine 24 hours prior to the procedure. You will want to arrive at the clinic with no makeup and a clean face, we will get you nice and numb prior to the procedure!

Do I need to plan for any aftercare?
You will want to plan for a few days of downtime. You will leave the clinic with a red and warm face. You may feel swollen and have small marks from where the needles enter the skin. We wouldn’t want you to have any events planned for two weeks post treatment.
